2013南安普敦船舶展将持续八日

       据报导，第四十五届2013南安普敦船舶展将于2013年9月13日开展，展期持续八日。目前确认参展商总数为518。

       南安普敦市是英国南部港口城市，人口22万，下辖15个区。是英国重要的远洋海港、海军基地，英国十大港口之一，也是英国最大的客运站、国际帆联总部所在地。
       南安普敦市是英国南部除伦敦以外最重要的经济中心城市，也是英国最大的造船业和船舶业中心。飞机制造、化工、食品、以及海洋工业、金融、旅游业也较发达。目前英国最大的商船造船厂就坐落在该市。
       南安普敦港建立于1838年，是天然深水港，年货物吞吐量约为3200万吨，客运量300万，是英国最大的汽车装卸港、英国最大的水果进口港和粮食出口港、欧洲最大的集装箱码头之一。该市的海洋科研在英国乃至欧洲都占有举足轻重的地位。海洋工业在该市的经济发展中逐步占有十分重要的地位，全市近万人从事与海洋有关的行业。其他如沿海矿藏、海上救助、海底管道、海底电缆等工业也十分发达。一年一度在该市举行的国际船舶展是欧洲规模最大的水上船舶展。

This year’s 45th edition of PSP Southampton Boat Show is to kick off in just over eight weeks, running from September 13 to 22. The last stages of planning are coming together nicely with 97% of land space sold and 79% of the Marina is confirmed bringing the current total number of exhibitors in at 518.

Confirming their commitment to the Show with their confirmation of presence over during the ten days are companies; Southerly Yachts Ltd, Yachts & Yachting, Sail & Trail, Bembridge Marine, Nanotech Marine, Prestige Wraps and Perfect Sailing. While attending the Show for the first time is new exhibitors France Afloat, CMS Marine and Crew Club Union (CCU 2013).

Over 34 debuts are currently to be hosted at the Show including world launches of the J88, Princess V48 and Princess 88 Yacht, the Orkney Longliner 2, North-line 37 pilot and Oban Skiff. UK debuts include the stunning Gunfleet 58, Bestewind 50, Mariner 235 and three models from the Dufour Grand Large range.
In the lead up to September National Boat Shows is working with the organisers of the Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week to highlight to crews and visitors the benefits of attending the PSP Southampton Boat Show. Big screen and radio advertising along with mobile phone activated promotions will run throughout the seven day sailing event.
